Thoughts from the Backseat (Or Planet Earth)

Jace is my second born. His brain and mine are built very differently.  I am always amazed at how he can teach me to step outside of my own outer edges to an entirely different world.

“Mom, isn’t it amazing to think that we are in space right now?”

Pondering his statement without saying a word I thought, are we in space?  Are we pretending to be astronauts?  I had just picked him up from preschool.

 He saw my puzzled look in the rear view mirror and replied, “You know, PLANET EARTH – floating in space right now?
